Winds of Change

Friends,

It is with an equally heavy and hopeful heart that we write these words. After five years, eight releases, and more shows and good times than the four of us can remember, Krang has decided the time has come for us to retire.

First and foremost, THANK YOU ALL for the love and acceptance that you have poured out on us from our very first moments. You made us strong, and you made us proud of who we are and where we came from and none of us will ever forget it. We think of all of you as our friends. And we could not ask for better friends.

Life has interceded and the time has come for us to move on. We started this journey as friends and partners, and it is in this spirit that we bring it to a close.

We leave with you a parting gift: In the fall of 2012 we recorded what was to be a double album with our good pal Renny Wilson over an unforgettable weekend at Riverdale Recorders here in Edmonton.  Today we are making available for download Part B, which has never been available to anyone until now. With your generous donation we hope to finish the vinyl release of part A within weeks, making 150 copies of our magnum opus "Prairie Tragedy" available for purchase on vinyl at our final show. Details will be available soon.

We will miss you all. Keep fighting the good fight, and as HST said, don’t let the bastards get you down.

THANK YOU

Too many people to list, too many killer bands. Thanks to everyone for help along our Prairie Tragedy tour. Smooth sailing across the prairies, can't wait to come back...with vinyl in hand.

Thanks to our pal Clinton for shooting "Witchfinger" at our (likely) final show of 2013 last weekend at Wunderbar.

NEXT on the agenda: brand new recording with Renny Wilson for a yet-to-be-named national compilation. Stay tuned!

Prairie Tragedy Begins

Thanks to everyone for coming out to the tour kick-off last night! Team Banshee absolutely slayed. Thanks to our good pal Krystal for supplying overhead projector-powered visuals.

Tour promo cassettes of our new record Prairie Tragedy are now available (limited edish). Come to one of our tour stops to pick one up. We only made 25!

Wynds of Chaynge

Another groovy capture from our good pal Clinton. "Winds of Change" at the Wunderbar.

Oh hey there! Krang Tour News and More Important Business

So a funny thing happened a couple months ago. As Parker and I tried to create a Soundcloud account -- which is maddeningly connected to Google + -- we ended up getting locked out of our band gmail account.

Our new email address is krangalberta@gmail.com. Send all press, tour, cuddling inquiries there.

Now we are able to update our blog again -- our apologies to everyone who vigorously follows the coming and goings of Krang. We've got lots on the go, so listen up!
